What Makes Your Portrait Special
Hand-Drawn
Every line created by hand. No AI, no digital filters — just pencil, charcoal, and 45 years of experience.
Archival Quality
Professional-grade paper and pencils that will last for generations. These are heirlooms, not decorations.
45 Years With Horses
I understand horses deeply — their anatomy, their expression, the quiet power in a shoulder. That knowledge shows in every portrait.
Progress Photos
I share photos throughout the process so you can see your portrait coming to life and give feedback before it is finished.
“Oh my word, my drawing is absolutely magnificent. You are incredibly talented, you captured him perfectly. I miss him with all my heart and there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t wish he was still with me. Thank you for making this, I will cherish it forever”

Everything You Need to Know
How long does a commission take?
Most portraits take 4–8 weeks depending on size and complexity. I send progress photos throughout so you can see it developing, and I will always let you know if the timeline changes.
Do you only draw horses?
Not at all — I work with all animals, though horses and dogs are my specialty. If you love them, I can capture them. I have drawn cats, birds, and other animals too.
What if I am not happy with the result?
I share progress photos throughout the process so you can give feedback before the portrait is finished. Your satisfaction matters — we work together until it is right.
Can you work from old or lower-quality photos?
I can work with less-than-perfect photos, but clear, well-lit images give the best results. Send what you have and we will discuss what is possible — I will always be honest with you.
Do you do memorial portraits?
Yes. Memorial portraits are a beautiful way to honour an animal who has passed. I approach these with extra care and sensitivity — they are some of the most meaningful commissions I do.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — worldwide shipping is available at cost. Every portrait is carefully packaged and fully insured so it arrives safely wherever you are in the world.
