About Me
I was 10 years old when I was put on a pony for the first time. He figured out quickly I had no idea what I was doing and bolted straight back to the stables. I was bouncing around in the saddle with the biggest smile on my face—I had genuinely found where I belonged. That single moment started a 45-year journey with animals that would shape my world.

From Horses to Art
I went from nervous beginner rider to a warmblood breeder, from a weekend rider to a riding instructor, from someone who loved horses to someone who earned a living with them. For 25 years I bred warmbloods, welcomed countless foals into the world, and helped horse owners navigate the complexities of care and training these special animals. But it wasn’t just horses. Since I was a little girl, I’ve always been more comfortable around animals than people. Dogs, cats, horses—I’ve always had that special connection, that ability to read the flick of an ear, the softening of an eye, the way they hold themselves when they trust you.

Finding my calling
A few years ago, during a tough time in my life, when things were happening that I couldn’t control, I picked up my iPad and started drawing. I had no plan. I just needed somewhere to put my attention that wasn’t the chaos around me. Line by line, the animals I knew so well began to appear. The curve of a neck I’d stroked a thousand times. The expression of a dog watching its owner return home. The quiet dignity of an old companion. Drawing became my meditation—and finally, my calling. Art has always been part of my life. I did art for matric and nearly studied it as a career, but I chose computers instead—they guaranteed an income to keep my horses. For years, I coded by day and rode by evening, my tech career funding my passion for my horses.. Now, after a lifetime with horses and animals, I finally have the opportunity to make art my full-time career.

What I Create Now
I create custom portraits for people who understand that special bond. People who see their horse, dog, or cat as family. People who want to hold onto that connection in a way that lasts. Every portrait I draw is influenced by a lifetime of watching, listening, and loving all animals. I don’t just capture what they look like—I capture what you see when you look at them. That spark of personality. That moment of trust. That quiet understanding between you. Whether it’s a horse who changed your life, a dog who’s been your constant companion, or a cat who chose you—I understand that connection. And I can help you keep it forever.
