Beautiful Arab Horse, I loved drawing this head – working on capturing his color and shine.
This is Carrick, he was a stallion imported from France by the famous stallion Voltaire. Carrick bred outstanding foals in South Africa and started a new generation of top quality sport horses who excelled in all disciplines. He was a very special horse. He had this white frosting on his neck which he became quite famous for, this was difficult to capture in the drawing.
Carrick again, he was such a special stallion with a Wow factor, which I tried to capture here in this drawing. He had such presence.
This is Red Bear, he raced in Summerveld in South Africa. I wanted to draw this picture to capture the detail in his muzzle and beautiful eye.
