How long does a commission take?
Most portraits take 4-8 weeks depending on size and complexity. I’ll send progress photos and keep you updated throughout the process.
Do you only draw horses?
No! I work with all animals, though horses and dogs are my specialty. If you love them, I can capture them.
What if I’m not happy with the result?
I send progress photos throughout the process so you can request changes. Your satisfaction is my priority—we work together until it’s perfect.
Can you work from old or poor-quality photos?
I can work with less-than-perfect photos, but clear, well-lit images give the best results. Send what you have and we’ll discuss the best approach.
Do you offer memorial portraits?
Yes. Memorial portraits are a beautiful way to honor an animal who has passed. I approach these with extra care and sensitivity.
What’s your refund policy?
I require a 50% deposit to begin work. If you’re unhappy during the progress photo stage, we can revise or cancel for a full refund. Once the final piece is complete and approved, all sales are final.
How is the portrait shipped?
Carefully! Each portrait is protected with acid-free tissue, rigid backing board, and shipped in a reinforced mailer. I can also arrange framing if desired.
